Event Coverage - Sproutly Social
Event Coverage

Your event happens once.
Make it work longer.

Social-first event coverage for launches, openings, conferences, activations, and brand moments that deserve more than a recap post.

What it is

A coverage plan built before the event starts.

Event coverage is not just documentation. It is a social-first content plan for capturing the moments, people, and story your audience should see after the room clears.

Your events create real moments: energy in the room, people connecting, speakers sharing ideas, your team showing up, and your brand becoming tangible. Without a plan, those moments usually turn into a few rushed photos and one recap post.

We arrive with the coverage plan already built. We capture the moments that matter, direct where needed, and deliver polished short-form content that can support your social channels for weeks after the event.

What you walk away with

Your event becomes a content asset, not a one-day moment.

01
A polished event content libraryShort-form recap videos edited for organic social, ready to use after the event.
02

03
Momentum after the eventYour launch, opening, conference, or activation keeps working after the day is over.

How it works

Clear plan, clear roles, cleaner event day.

The goal is to avoid showing up and guessing. We map the coverage before the event so the day can move with purpose.

2
Brand and event assetsYou send the schedule, run of show, logos, brand details, venue information, and any must-capture moments.
3
Coverage briefWe build the shot priorities, content angles, talking points, and event-day coverage plan for your review.
4
Logistics confirmationWe confirm arrival time, access, parking, venue rules, event contact, and anything needed for a smooth production day.
5
Event coverageWe show up ready to capture key moments, candid energy, speaker clips, attendee interactions, and brand details.
6
Editing and deliveryYour short-form content is edited, captioned, and delivered within the agreed turnaround window, with two consolidated revision rounds included.

FAQs

Common event coverage questions.

The goal is to make the event day feel clear before we arrive.

Do you post the content for us after the event?
Not by default. Event coverage includes planning, capture, editing, captions, and delivery of the finished content. If you want Sproutly to manage ongoing posting, scheduling, community management, and reporting, our Growth package is usually the better fit. Our Foundation package can also work if you or your team can capture the footage.
Do you post live during the event?
Premier includes same-day Story assets. That means we prepare timely Story content during or immediately after the event. Live publishing to your accounts can be scoped separately if you want Sproutly to handle posting directly.
Do attendees need to sign media releases?
Your team is responsible for event permissions, attendee notices, venue approvals, speaker approvals, and any required releases. We can help flag what to think through, but the client owns legal permission to film people, spaces, and event moments.
Do we get the raw footage?
Raw footage and source files are not included by default. If you need raw footage, it can be requested as a paid written add-on before the event or before final file transfer.
Can we use the videos on our website or in paid ads?
Finished deliverables are built for organic social use. Website use, paid ads, paid boosting, billboards, broadcast, or broader campaign usage can be added through paid usage rights if needed.
What if our event schedule changes?
Small timing adjustments can usually be handled if they stay within the booked coverage window. Major schedule changes, added locations, added deliverables, extended hours, or new creative direction may require a written scope update and additional payment before work begins.
Can you travel for events?
Yes, if travel is scoped and approved in advance. Travel, parking, accommodation, special access costs, and other event-related expenses are separate from the coverage package unless your written booking details say otherwise.
How soon should we book?
The earlier the better, especially for events with speakers, multiple locations, complex run-of-show details, or venue restrictions. Booking early gives us time to build the brief, confirm logistics, and protect the quality of the coverage.
What comes next

Event coverage often reveals what ongoing social could become.

For clients who want to keep the momentum going, our Growth retainer is the natural next step: full fractional social department, on-site production, and ongoing strategy. Prefer to handle your own filming? Our Foundation retainer can also work if your team can capture the footage.
